Computer Operator/ Help Desk

Reports to: Store Systems Manager
When: A.S.A.P
Wage: $10.80-$17.75/hr. DOQ
Schedule: The help desk is a 24 hr. operation. Work schedule will vary; may require starting as early as 4:00 am or working until midnight or later. This is a full time position with an expected schedule of four 10 hour days each week.
Overview: Provides help desk support to stores and pharmacies for point of sale and computer systems. Operates computers on the local area network to process daily production jobs according to an established schedule. Monitors wide area network.
Qualifications: Include, but are not limited to:
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to produce results under pressure and within deadlines
  • An excellent record for attendance and performance
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and organize workload
  • Strong initiative with accuracy and commitment a must
  • Detail oriented with thorough follow through
  • Proven ability to use proper telephone etiquette and provide excellent internal customer service
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Legible handwriting
Experience: Required: Familiarity with Windows 2000/XP and Microsoft Office

Preferred: Experience with Bi-Mart in store computer systems or alternative POS system. Experience in a help desk environment also helpful.
