Over time, these secret modifications developed into the colors and components found in the new Custom Salmon & Steelhead series here. Now Panther Martin is making these fishing secrets public with custom pre-loaded lures ready to fish! The black nickel hooks are extra strong and less visible. The black nickel swivel at the front eliminates line twist, but more importantly, it reduces the leverage that a big rolling fish can use to dislodge the hook. Oversized patented Panther Martin Convex/Concave blades slow the spin, lower the vibration frequency, and increase the sonic thump and wobble. All of which is important for calling in a sea run giant. Genuine silver-plated blades are critical to fishermen for the authentic baitfish like light, they reflect. Holographic Black works well in dark water and dark lighting conditions.
