Overview

The Wicked Lures Wicked Lure is a side-drifting spinner for salmon, steelhead, lake trout, and walleye. Everything on the Wicked Lure is custom-designed, from the hoochie to the blades, except for the Gamakatsu hooks. Designed to be cast, you can also swing and back bounce the trout and salmon spinner lure even run them on bait divers if you like. The setup for the Wicked Lure is about a 34-inch leader to a snap swivel to an in-line sinker on the mainline. That's the line equation for swinging for big steelhead, coho, and kings! After casting the Wicked Lure, and right before it hits the water, flip the over the bail and start retrieving, slowly, letting it glide with the current. Let it swing, hover fishing just above the bottom structure while reeling it all the way back to the boat. Make sure to put your rod tip down when you get back to the boat to keep the line angle down and swing behind the boat. You'll be surprised at how many big salmon and steelhead chase these lures to the boat and hammer them!
